  1. Of course they are.. in my opinion, songs are excellent resources to teach anything even a new language becasuse we can learn new things unconsciously, so if we are teaching children and we want them to learn faster the best way to teach children is through songs, because kids love singing specially when songs are funny and have lots of movements. =)

  5. Definitely the songs are an excellent resource for teaching a new language to children, because when one is in kindergarten love singing and dancing. The songs should be fun and dynamic to achieve greater participation of children. I believe that through the songs children can learn a new language and have fun at the same time.

  11. The songs are really important resources for the teaching of English in children because they can develop communication skills as listening and speaking, also help maintain and capture the attention of children in a fun way. Songs also encourage active participation by generating a pleasant climate in the classroom.

  15. for adult is a level very difficult to teach .all the time you should put things more adapted in this level because each person think very different another person in this level look for strategies in which help improve the interest of each person in this subject

  16. I think if you can teach adults through songs because we are children, youth and adults at the same time, we are the same person as the child who learned their native language, you can use songs according to the knowledge that the adult have. Out of the ordinary and experiment with new strategies for teaching a new language in adults.

  17. Of course teacher ... teaching a new language for adults through songs also are excellent resources because they develop in the same skills (listening and speaking). Adults could even create your own songs, encouraging them to participate without fear of ridicule and feeling more confident in themselves, because the music creates fun and relaxation to any activity.

  18. well. OBVIOUSLY songs are a great resource! because as we know: kids like to play, so if you sing a song with them, doing some gestures they (the kids) will remember the gestures aswell the words in the song. for instance (eventhough im not a kid) i cant pull out of my mind Meryan`s song. " where is mother, where is mother, in the kitchen in the kitchen, lets go to the kitchen lets go to the kitchen come with me come with me" if you pay atention; this song has repetition drills and the same intonation in almost all the phrases wich are in the song. i know its a lil bit late. but i couldnt find the blog`s link. hope you guys take into account my participation =D

  19. and according to the other question:

we can use songs for teaching adults. OF COURSE, not in the same way. We as teacher can introduce songs wich could have phrasal verbs, verb TO BE, personal pronouns, and so on. so you can ask to your students to look in the song for those aspects that you are asking for.... =)

so to complement my partner`s ideas. WE CAN USE SONGS FOR TEACHING ADULTS TOO..... I don`t know if you guys remember that in English I, II, III, IV, V and so on.... our teachers used songs to teach us... i remember Dear Mr President by Pink Ft indigo girls. used in Discourse analisys. and English V " underline verbs with ING" ^_^.
So, If you guys wanna used Music for teaching adults PLEASE take into account the previous knowledge, age, also the socio-cultural enviroment and OF COURSE what kind of music they like the most :]

  27. Well, I agree with all my friends, the songs are a very good and fun way to teach children, youth and adults, we must only take into account the level of each person and vary the type of strategy to teach each topic.

    ResponderEliminar
  28. Teaching youth or adults is not difficult task seeing it from the point of view we were kids and we know that we like or as we like to learn the various issues that want to, such as colors, we wear clothes of various colors and and it allows us to teach two subjects at once because we are using the colors in different types of clothing and it helps to know the colors and clothing. We must always remember the level or degree of education that was used with each person.
