of course teacher, I liked to make puppets is like being kids again, and I think that using puppets awakens the imagination of children making it more fun and entertaining
ResponderEliminarI really enjoyed it, as julia said it was like being a child again. In my opinion, the puppets are an excellent resource for teaching children because they love to be entertained with puppets. We can use the puppets with different purposes like: to capture the attention of children, help a shy child to feel comfortable and express his/her feelings and emotions, to solve conflicts and disagreements in the classroom and so on.

ResponderEliminarVideo, cartoons and movies help to establish a learning resource to kids, also encourage the process of learning to second language adquisition and also allow them to learn while having fun and themselves can dramatize their experiences and phrases in English.

Wow! I guess I did, too. I mean, it was a very weird experience for me since I'm awfully bad at doing this kind of things: I would just like to be more able to make these resources (hehehe). Definitively, puppets catch kids' attention and they (children) try to follow every single detail performed by puppets, so they (kids) will undoubtedly grasp any aspect taught by these "animated characters" because they (children) love everything concerning magics, imagination, animation, etc.

ResponderEliminarOn the other hand, I can say that I really enjoyed the experience of making puppets in class. I have never used puppets to teach children but I hope to use them soon :):):)
I couldn`t make the puppets in class but I am totally sorry for that. I think puppets as resources for teaching english is an excellent techique for doing children feel motivated inside the class. it makes children pay more attention in what puppets say or doing for then to adquire it on their minds achieving they are more animated to participate and feeling protagonists in this kind of activity.
